Joyful rhythms and boot scootin’ fun! 🎻✨

Friday night, Covenant 7th & 8th graders came together for our annual Covenant Corral - an evening of square dancing fun!

It turns out that navigating a “do-si-do” has a lot more in common with Classical Education than you might think! Here’s how a simple folk dance brings our educational philosophy to life:

* Order and Harmony: Just like the classical pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness, a square dance relies on structural order. When everyone moves in harmony and follows the caller, something beautiful is created. We saw that in the fun of Friday night!

* Embodied Community: Classical education values the whole person—mind, soul, and body. It was incredible to see students, parents, and teachers laughing, moving, and learning together outside the classroom.

* Respect and Tradition: Honoring historic folk traditions teaches our students to appreciate the rich cultural heritage passed down to us. Plus, learning the etiquette of dance fosters mutual respect and chivalry among peers.

Thank you to everyone who came out, volunteered their time and energy, and made this special event happen for our students! We are so grateful for this joyful, Christ-centered community.

Our Rams did it! We are overflowing with gratitude for our incredible sponsors and the generous support behind this year’s Ram’s Reading Rally.

Because of you, our students read a whopping 55,000 minutes and raised $13,821 for this year’s Annual Fund. Every minute read and every dollar given strengthens our mission to cultivate wisdom, virtue, and joyful learning in the hearts of our students.

Thank you for investing in Covenant Academy and cheering on our Rams. Your partnership makes a lasting difference.

In Upper School Fitness, our students are learning that training the body is part of training the whole person. They encourage one another, work hard, and follow the example of staff who model discipline and perseverance.

Today we celebrate Mrs. Wood, who pulled a 205‑lb lift while her students cheered her on — strength, joy, and discipleship in motion, a picture of what it means to grow together in Christ.

This week’s Senior Athlete Spotlight goes to Seth! He’s always played a big part on our teams, and we are proud of his hard work!
GO RAMS!

Brains in motion in Covenant’s science labs today! 💙❤️🧬

US Biology students are testing enzymes, while AP Biology is measuring cellular respiration in real time using classic respirometers and germinating peas.

Hands-on science, real data, and the beauty of God’s orderly design on full display.

Brains in motion and wheels in motion!
Our Covenant 4th graders headed to Great 8 Skate Park in Gray to learn about Sir Isaac Newton, scientific experimentation, and the beauty of God’s design- while also sharpening focus, balance, and teamwork on the skate ramps.

Learning and laughter made the perfect pair.

Recently, our K5 scholars traded their usual uniform pieces for bear ears and camo to celebrate a Teddy Bear Tea Party!

In a classical classroom, learning is an adventure that connects great stories with joyful discovery. To bring our literature studies to life, our youngest students walked through the halls and around campus, reenacting the classic rhythmic cadence of “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.” Additional fun activities included a tea party complete with real tea cups and teddy grahams along with using math knowledge to sort bears into honey pots!

Through these immersive theme days, we cultivate a lifelong love for learning, poetic rhythm, and shared wonder. Our students don’t just read stories or complete activities—they step right into them!
