You can support OMA through our store, membership, or donations. OMNHP is a prehistoric American Indian site. American Indians first came here during the Paleo-Indian period hunting Ice Age mammals. Many different American Indian cultures occupied this land for thousands of years. Around 900 CE, the Mississippian Period began. They constructed mounds for their elite, which remain today.

The 34th Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and community partners.
Because of their commitment, visitors had the opportunity to experience Southeastern Indigenous art, music, dance, storytelling, cultural demonstrations, and traditions at Ocmulgee Mounds.
We are incredibly grateful to every sponsor who helped make this weekend possible. Your investment in this celebration helps us create meaningful opportunities for our community to learn, connect, and celebrate Indigenous cultures.
Please join us in thanking our 2026 sponsors:
National Parks Conservation Association, Visit Macon, Robins Financial Credit Union, Kimley-Horn, Piedmont Macon, Atrium Health, Sheridan Construction, Middle Georgia State University, Wire 3, The Telegraph, Georgia Public Broadcasting, and Macon Magazine.
