Altered Canvas turns 8 today! Since 2018 i have poured my everything into my business & watched it blossom into something i am so proud of. I have met so many wonderful people on this journey & learned so much more than i thought i would. I am immensely grateful for all of you that i get to call my clients! Through thick & thin i have been able to lean on all of you guys for support, reassurance, & growth. Altered Canvas would not be here today if it weren’t for all of you. So, thank you. Thank you for trusting me & allowing me to create something new, beautiful, & cool every single day. Here’s to many more wonderful years at my little slice of heaven 🥂

UPDATE: As of noon on Saturday, June 13-Slaughter Road is back open.

Beginning Friday, June 12, 2026, at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting, Slaughter Road between Greenwood Drive and Eastview Drive will be temporarily closed to allow for the installation of storm pipes. The temporary closure will last approximately 3 days, and the road will reopen by Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Traffic control and detour signage will be in-place to direct traffic around the work area.

Motorists are highly encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion. If the area cannot be avoided, we kindly ask motorists to stay alert, drive carefully along the detour route, and plan for possible delays.

Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the roads and enhance safety for everyone in Madison County.
