We will close at noon tomorrow, Sept. 29. Michael will have a couple of procedures at River Oaks Hospital tomorrow afternoon. Thank you for any prayers for him and the medical team.
We had to be rescheduled, because the surgeon was off today. We found that out when we went upstairs to endoscopy. Someone failed to contact Michael to let him know. Now he is scheduled for Friday, September 11. It's all good, though. Michael and I just laughed a whole lot on the way back to the store! I'm sure he just wasn't supposed to have it today. God knows the reason, and He knows best.
So thankful to my friend, Kathy Bowen, for "store sitting" for me a couple of hours.
We will be closed Friday for Michael to have a procedure at River Oaks.
We will close at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow to attend the Celebration of Life of our daughter's father-in-law, Quinton Butler, in Yazoo City. We will be open Friday morning at 9:00 a.m.
UPDATE: Michael has been discharged. Just waiting for transportation to take him down. He has had amazing nurses and the best Hospitalist EVER - Dr Sreemantula. We are both so thankful for the many prayers. God got him through a rough time!
We were closed today. I had to bring Michael to St D ER this morning. They did several tests and admitted him. Please send up prayers for him. Based on early bloodwork showing high WBC, they started him on antibiotics. Diagnosis is Sepsis.
We will be CLOSED this Friday, April 10th, for a conference.
