Weāre not for everyone, which is šš» with us!
If you value blunt honesty, not having to micromanage your contractor, investing in quality, and are in need of a new deck, screen porch, or 3-season room, youāre in the right placeā¦

Most people notice the color.
Our crews notice everything else...

Clean miters.
ā
Plugs following the direction of the grain.
We take pride in our work even when the details seem small.

The boards are obvious. The footings and framing? Not so much.
Paying attention to both is the secret to a deck that stands the test of time.

Mosquitoes hate to see us coming.
We build cozy havens they canāt get into.
Sit outside. Eat outside. Relax without becoming dinner.

If your first cookout of the year had you stepping around warped boards, raised screws, or wobbly railings, itās time to do something about it.
Let us make your deck feel like a retreat, not another task.

Footings can be a total messā¦ especially in the spring.
Instead of digging holes and pouring traditional concrete footings, we use a jackhammer and steel rods to install Diamond Pier footings (basically creating a tree-root-like structure underground).
Itās engineered to resist frost heave in the winter and as you can see, it lets us work cleaner and faster, so you can enjoy your deck sooner.

ā ļø No one-size-fits-all deck exists. ā ļø
Thatās why we design around how you actually use your space.
These āmistakesā are really just unintended consequences we like to help homeowners avoid. But if you love a design feature enough, it might be worth the trade-off (and thatās totally fine too)!

Cable railing isnāt cheap.
It can run close to 2x the cost of aluminum.
So we donāt just throw it everywhere.
On the main deck? Worth it. The view is the whole point.
On the stairs? Youāre not standing there soaking in the lake.
So we used aluminum that coordinates with the cable posts and keeps the look clean.
Same durability. Smarter allocation.
