Congratulations to Shawn Belling, IT Director, UW–Madison engineering instructor, and UWEBC Practice Director in Residence, who authored a chapter in “Case Studies on Project Management in Practice,” which received the 2026 PMI David I. Cleland Project Management Literature Award.

This award, presented by the Project Management Institute, recognizes a published book that significantly advances project management knowledge, concepts, and practice.

Shawn wrote a scaled hybrid agile case study, one of 16 applications featured in the book. The book was honored globally alongside works from an inspiring group of researchers, project professionals, and changemakers whose work is shaping the future of project management.

We were also pleased to feature Shawn in our August newsletter. UWEBC members can learn more about his journey to becoming UWEBC’s Agile Practice Director in Residence and the expertise he brings to the UWEBC community.
