Back Alley Cat Goods

One of my favorite events is ahead! 🎲🍀 We'll be back at SAUCED Fri Sept 11th and Sat Sept 12th // 5-10P both nights - it's free and ALWAYS a good time at Garver Feed Mill! We have a couple new goods that we're bringing, along with the hits! 🤗

😺

In case you missed our stories we wanted to say THANK YOU one more time to everyone who made Caturday such a big success last week. From Cats of Madison for hanging out and documenting the whole shebang, to Brittney for running the front of house for us, and Sam | Maker of Cat Toys for making and donating such quality cat toys! Plus all of YOU who showed up. We'll do it again next year. But for now we're gearing up for the Madison Tattoo Festival in October! Hope to see ya there 🎉

😻

🧱 New things happening over in the alley! 🧱

Got a little carried away with the excitement of 🍓 Strawberry Fest 🍓 and now look what we have!

Hot off the crochet needles, new Strawpurrries lightly packed with a lovely blend of catnip, of course.

These silly buddies will be exclusive to Strawberry Fest, but who knows the cats might demand a year round option, we do what they want. 🤗

These will be sold individually and in bundles in a fresh "U-pick" pack.

Restocked and good to go for all your feline friends -- stop by Rooted Collective 201 LLC for last minute shopping needs, honestly there are so many great locally made items, so even if you're all set with the cat needs you should stop by! 😸

I have the same-ish spiel every year around this time, but here we go - this is a tad different:

Shopping small and supporting small businesses is a very generic statement, sure. But, please know that you are directly impacting your local community when you do so. There are dozens of holiday markets with local makers, perfect for holiday shopping this year.

This is the time of year that your local makers rely on and bank on. I'm not asking for anyone to boycott Amazon, but one tiny purchase from a local maker can really make a difference.

With all of that being said, my last big two holiday markets are:

Dec 5-7: .glarus Christkindli Market 🎄
Dec 12-14: Paoli 🎁

Both near and dear markets as a former Sugar River Raider ⚽ and a Belleville lad. 🫶

I hope this encourages you to support a local maker. The above two markets are great places to try!

Okay, thank you. ✌️
