NOW Swarm FC

🤝 Meet Coach Tabby! Tabby coaches our U7/U8 girls team 🤝

A Georgia native, Tabby Owens grew up watching her older sisters play, where her love for soccer began at an early age. She attended Grady High School in Atlanta, where she served as a team captain and played club soccer with Inter Atlanta and GSA. Her playing career also included participation in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) Region 3 Camp.

A versatile player, Tabby spent time at outside back, center back, and attacking midfield. Tabby continued her soccer career at the collegiate level, playing two years at Georgia Military College before transferring to Martin Methodist College, now the University of Tennessee Southern, where she played for three more years as a starting center back.

During her collegiate career, she was part of multiple conference and regular-season championship teams and helped the University of Tennessee Southern capture a National Championship.

Her introduction to coaching began in college, when her team worked with a local soccer team. She later continued coaching alongside her husband, Coulton, helping with both his club and high school teams.

Now coaching at the U7/U8 level, Tabby emphasizes competitiveness and work ethic while keeping the bigger picture in mind, helping young players discover their own love for the game.

Outside of soccer, Tabby works as a Physical Therapist with Huntsville Hospital and Apex. She enjoys reading, working out, playing in adult soccer leagues, and spending time with family and friends.

Coach Tabby brings a lifelong love of soccer and a competitive spirit to the field, with the hope that every player she coaches develops that same excitement and love for the game.

⚽️ Meet Coach Spanky! Spanky coaches our U9 team ⚽️

Coach Beavers, better known around the field as Coach Spanky, brings over 28 years of coaching experience and a deep love for both sports and education. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Arkansas State University, he began his career as a statistician for the State of Alabama. But it was through coaching and tutoring in his spare time that he discovered his true passion—working with kids—which led him to pursue a career in teaching.

A former college football player, Coach Spanky has spent decades coaching football, basketball, and soccer at Prattville High School, as well as leading competitive teams with the Capital City Streaks and the River Region Rapids. He’s also shared his expertise at soccer camps for Auburn University Montgomery and the University of Alabama Huntsville.

Coach Spanky holds an Advanced Regional Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, and is known for his high energy, encouraging presence, and commitment to player development both on and off the pitch.

You’ll find him on the sidelines inspiring our athletes and bringing a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the NOW Swarm FC coaching staff!

⚽️ MEET COACH CALLIE ⚽️

Callie coaches our U12/11 White Team 🤍🤍🤍

Coach Callie’s love for soccer began at age 10 and eventually earned her a four-year athletic and academic scholarship to play at the University of West Alabama.

Her path later led her to the United States Coast Guard, where she served for six years—from Search and Rescue in Alaska’s Bering Sea to Deployable Specialized Forces in Miami. 🇺🇸

After her military service, Callie returned to coaching, with stops in Washington, D.C. and back home in Huntsville. She spent four years coaching at Huntsville High School before making the move to NOW full-time.

Beyond the pitch, Callie is a mom to Poppy (who is a proud NOW Swarm FC player!), certified personal trainer, nutritionist, and strength & conditioning coach, as well as a professional bodybuilding competitor. 💪

An “old-school” coach at heart, Callie specializes in technical and tactical development and is passionate about teaching her players not just how to play the game—but why.

We’re proud to have Coach Callie developing the next generation at NOW! 🖤⚽️

🤝Meet Coach Coulton Owens🤝

Coulton currently coaches our U12/U11 Red Team ❤️

A Madison County High School standout and All-State selection, grew up training under our very own Norbert Webley and was one of his first private session athletes. His dedication to the game was evident early on—he still holds the juggling record for the Academy.

Coulton continued his soccer journey at Martin Methodist College (now UT Southern) from 2018 to 2021, where he played all three years on both an athletic and academic scholarship. He earned his degree in Mathematics, with a minor in Business Management, showcasing the same discipline off the field that he brings to coaching.

Currently, Coulton works as a Financial Planner at Oak Tree Financial. Outside of work, he enjoys playing in adult league matches and coaching across both the Academy and Club levels, and hanging out and exploring Huntsville with his wife, Tabby.

Coach Coulton brings a deep understanding of the game, a strong connection to our community, and a passion for player development.

So glad to have you on our team, Coach Coulton!

⚽️ We are excited to introduce you to our 2026/2027 NOW Swarm FC coaches! ⚽️

How could we start with anyone else? Meet Norbert Webley 🤝

Norbert is the Founder and Director of Coaching of NOW Soccer Academy and NOW Swarm FC, responsible for the club’s player development pathway, coach education standards, and the consistent ex*****on of its game model across age groups.

Norbert’s passion for soccer began as a child and developed into an elite playing career. He represented the Jamaica National Team from ages 15–21 and began his career in the United States on a soccer scholarship.

For more than 20 years, Norbert has coached, provided skills training, and developed competitive athletes. His work centers on making development measurable and repeatable. He has built a connected curriculum that links weekly themes, role-specific responsibilities, and game-real scenarios so players learn not only what to do, but why and when under pressure, at speed, and in the moments that decide matches. His methodology emphasizes modern positional play, strong transition habits, and a shared language that helps coaches teach faster and players play with clarity.

To support staff and families, Norbert creates practical systems that translate ideas into daily training: scenario-based drill libraries, session templates, and video/KPI review frameworks. These tools help coaches align on non-negotiables, track progress over time, and give players clear targets they can own.

Above all, Norbert is committed to a culture of high standards and high care, accountability, honesty, and belief. He works closely with coaches, players, and families to ensure every athlete has a clear pathway to improve, compete with confidence, and grow as a teammate and person.

Norbert, we are thankful for all you do for our kids on and off the pitch.
