Life In A Dollhouse

It’s been so many years since I’ve shared photos of my blue store project I did back in 2019 to accompany the launch of my Etsy shop and Website. It’s still one of my favorites, and that blue paint color is simply my favorite ever. The flower box at the top of the facade, brass letters, and arched windows are all so stunning.

I realized I never really shared more about this final project I completed last semester, but here’s another view of that front counter area. In this shot, I love how you can see that repetitive spiral nautilus motif in the logo and the chair backs! 🌀

This past semester in my first Interior Design Studio course, we took on an Adaptive Reuse project with a commercial unit as one of its requirements. I chose to create a cafe with the concept of Perpetual Movement of the Universe, as the reimagined building was an Observatory. As one of the last parts of the project, we were instructed to create a 3D model, which was obviously one of my favorite parts of the project. I’ll share more photos of this 1:24 scale model soon—but wanted to share a little peek of that front cafe counter that I love so much. 💫🌀
