Congratulations to Jackson Park Community Association, an AARP Community Challenge grantee! 🎉Two new V-shaped benches will be installed at a busy park entrance near transit and parking, creating a welcoming place to rest and recharge. This simple improvement will help visitors of all ages and abilities comfortably transition from the street to the park and enjoy greater access to outdoor spaces.

The first new downtown wayfinding kiosk is now in place on College Avenue, marking a key milestone in a project supported by AARP's Livable Communities Technical Assistance Program to improve accessibility and the downtown experience. Through a partnership between AARP, Appleton Downtown Inc, 8 80 Cities, and the City of Appleton Government, the new kiosks will make downtown easier to navigate and more welcoming for all.
