I’m delighted to be coming to Chapter 52 Bookstore in Fond du Lac on Saturday, November 7, from 9 AM–12 PM for a book signing and conversation around my memoir, What My Brother Knew.
When my brother Jay was 12 years old, he began telling me, our family, and his friends that he knew how and when he was going to die. At 13, he died just as he had foretold.
What My Brother Knew begins there, with the impossible knowledge of a boy and the questions his death left behind. It follows my journey through grief and loss, the mystery of precognition, my own fear of death, and the long movement toward healing and a radically different relationship with life, death, and what we can know.
Come find me. Bring your questions. Bring your own stories of loss, strange knowing, synchronicity, grief, healing, and those experiences that crack open what we thought was possible.
