She is a SoFA (Sociocracy for All) certified facilitator and trainer and has practiced nonviolent communication for more than a decade!

Sociocracy is a self-governance system based on the values of equality, continuous improvement, and NONVIOLENT communication.

Our next herb walk is coming up this weekend - Saturday, July 18th! We’re hosting herb walks led by our Community Pharmacy cooperator Kat! We’ll have several herb walks through the Summer into Fall, lots of opportunities to learn about native plant species and the powerful properties they contain!

Herb walks will all begin at Community Pharmacy located at 130 S. Fair Oaks Avenue and go from 2:30pm - 4pm. Herb walks will be $30 per person per walk - free for folks from 144 S. Fair Oaks Avenue and MadWorC cooperative members. If cost is a barrier for joining, please reach out to us and we will work with you!

We’re hiring!

We’re looking for a full time retail sales associate for both of our locations! Herbal knowledge and experience is a plus but not required. Training is available for both sales and herbal skills, but experience is preferred. Applicants must be available to work at both of our locations, 130S. Fair Oaks Avenue and 6333 University Avenue and must work every other Saturday. Pay starts at $17/hr.
