John Burns began his career with the Badger Family on September 2, 1986 and has always been the kind of person who will stop what he’s doing to lend a hand. The guy you can count on. The guy who makes the workday a little better simply by being there. And after 40 years, that kindness and dedication haven’t changed.

John, we hope you know how much you are appreciated and valued here at Badger. We’re incredibly lucky to have you on our team, and even luckier to know you as a person.

After an incredible comeback win over the Cubs last night - including a two-run homer from Jackson Chourio in the 9th and a walk-off hit from Luis Lara in the 10th - the Brewers are sitting at 90–56 with the best record in baseball! 🙌

The Brewers and Cubs are back at it tonight at American Family Field with first pitch at 6:40 p.m.

What a sight! Our UW coaches were lined up at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center today as the Wisconsin Badgers get ready to open the 2026 season against No. 4 Notre Dame at Lambeau Field! ❤️🤍

And this isn’t just any season opener. There’s some pretty cool history surrounding tonight’s game:

🏟️ It’s Wisconsin’s first game at Lambeau Field in 10 years
🏈 The last time the Badgers played there, they upset No. 5 LSU, 16–14
⭐ Tonight marks only the third major college football game played at Lambeau
🦡 Wisconsin enters the season having won 10 of its last 11 season openers

Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. CT on NBC and Peacock.
