What if one day a week could change your child's childhood? 🌿

Imagine your child spending 4 hours every Monday climbing trees, building forts, creating imaginary worlds, making friends, solving problems, and discovering what they're capable of—all outdoors, in every season.

Our Homeschool TimberNook Program runs Mondays from September 14 through June 7 (no program December 28 or January 4), giving children 144 hours of child-led outdoor play over 36 weeks.

🍂 4 hours each Monday, ages 5-12
❄️ Outside in all weather (because every season offers something magical!)
🌱 Child-led, research-backed play that builds confidence, creativity, resilience, and lifelong friendships
💲 Just $12.50 per hour for an experience your child will remember long after the school year ends. Payment plans and scholarships available. Please email [email protected] for details.

In a world where childhood is increasingly scheduled and screen-filled, give your child the gift of time, freedom, mud, adventure, and imagination.

One day a week. A lifetime of memories.

Spots are limited—register now and let your child experience the magic of a full year in the woods with TimberNook.

💚

"There are not enough words to express how grateful our family is for TimberNook.

Watching our son at TimberNook was incredible. He came home each day happier, more confident, and excited to share everything he had experienced. The camp gave him the chance to explore, problem-solve, make new friends, and simply be a kid in an environment that celebrated curiosity, creativity, and the outdoors.

It was so much more than just a summer camp for him; it became a place where he discovered new strengths in himself and built memories that he will carry with him.
As a parent, nothing is more meaningful than seeing your child light up with joy and confidence. I have never seen him glow like he has this week at camp.

Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in our lives.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!" - TimberNook Parent from TimberNook of Greater Cleveland

This week, the woods are becoming an art studio unlike any other! 🌿🎨

Our Extreme Art campers have been transforming sticks, leaves, mud, rocks, fabric, and anything else nature provides into incredible Artful Dens and Royal Art. There are no instructions to follow or examples to copy—just creativity, curiosity, and the freedom to bring their ideas to life.

It's amazing what happens when children are given time, space, and open-ended materials. Every creation tells a story, every masterpiece is unique, and every child discovers that their imagination is more powerful than they ever realized.

This is what childhood should look like. 💚

Extreme Art officially starts tomorrow, July 21! We cannot wait to see what campers create this week!

Attention Extreme Art Families: Due to the severe air quality conditions moving through WI, we have decided to postpone the first day of camp to Tuesday July 21. Programming will not be held this Monday July 20. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to keep all of our campers healthy during their time outdoors.

Tin can phones or walkie talkies? The debate is out on what is better, but not one child today said they would prefer to talk to friends on the phone or through text messaging! Kids do prefer face to face, real time talking. All they need is the chance to get together...away from adult intervention and instruction.

Everyone deserves to play the TimberNook way!

Every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, challenge, and freedom of play.

In this episode of The Nook Podcast, pediatric physical therapist, researcher, TimberNook provider, and LIVEfor founder Kathryn Kraft, DPT, shares why creating inclusive play environments isn't about changing the child; it's about ensuring every child has the opportunity to belong, explore, and thrive.
