Porchlight’s Veterans Transitional Housing Program (VTHP) extends heartfelt gratitude to RSVP’s Group Projects program for their amazing partnership! The volunteers made a tremendous impact by handknitting dozens of blankets to enhance our transitional space and the units we provide to veterans as they work to improve their circumstances and secure permanent tenure.

A huge shout-out to Chloe and Angela, our dedicated VTHP Case Managers, for implementing this resource and for the countless hours and tireless effort they selflessly devote to making our program the success it is.

In May, we began preparing for our men's shelter transition to the new facility with the help of our friends from TruStage. Their team rolled up their sleeves, put in some elbow grease, and helped us get off on the right foot as we take this exciting next step.

We're grateful for their partnership and commitment to making a difference in our community!

In preparation for our upcoming move, we are not accepting clothing donations at the men's shelter located at 2002 Zeier Road starting Monday.

Marcus is excited to move into his new Porchlight apartment at Blair Street today. He is a veteran and a recent graduate of our Veteran Transitional Housing Program.
