Why It Works: The strongest rooms aren’t always defined by what was added. Sometimes, it’s the restraint—the decision to let a few beautiful materials do the work.

Inset shaker cabinetry grounds the design in classic craftsmanship, while the stained white oak shipboard island and Venetian plaster hood bring warmth and texture. Iron Ore tower cabinets add just enough contrast against the softness of Egret White.

For this home, we paired Sherwin-Williams Greek Villa cabinetry with two Dark Walnut stained maple islands, layered in reeded glass, gallery rail detailing, and furniture-style bookcase ends to create a kitchen that feels warm, welcoming, and built to last for generations.
