We’re so excited to welcome Mickey Walker of Heirloom Bakery & Kitchen back to Picnic in the Park! ✨

Mickey’s approach to baking is rooted in creativity, care, and baking treats that brings people together, making her such a natural fit for an evening that celebrates the people and flavors that make our local food community so special.

This year, Mickey will be bringing something sweet to the table with desserts created especially for the evening. We can’t wait to see what she has in store! ✨

Today we're celebrating the power of community — and saying thank you to everyone who believes that great parks don't happen by accident. They happen because people show up for them.

The Madison Parks Foundation is proud to be Madison's nonprofit partner in caring for all 297 of our city's parks — funding everything from accessible beaches to the K.N.O.W. program at Warner Park Community Recreation Center, where 300+ kids find a safe place to grow every week.

90 cents of every dollar you give goes straight to programs that make our parks — and our community — better.

This , consider a gift to keep Madison's parks thriving for generations to come. 💚

Accessible beaches are for everyone — and now, at three of Madison's most beloved spots, that's more true than ever.

Madison Parks Foundation is proud to announce that accessible beach pathways are now open at Tenney Beach, Warner Beach, and Esther Beach. Permanent paved pathways combined with seasonal beach matting create a seamless, barrier-free route from beach facilities all the way to the water's edge — welcoming people of all ages and abilities to fully experience Madison's beautiful shoreline.

This project is part of our Parks for All campaign, a $10 million initiative to ensure sustainability and accessibility across all 297 parks in Madison's park system — for generations to come.

None of this happens without the generosity of our donors. Thank you for believing that every resident deserves full access to the joy of Madison's parks and waterways.
