Wisconsin Badger Throws

Fall 2026 Cookout with the Badger Throwers!

Made it to Eugene for the 2026 World U20 Chanpionships!

Today at Wisconsin the new Kellner Family Athletic Center opened, phase 1 of a $285M project. The Badger throwers will have a great setup with 10 wooden circles, one concrete circle, and plans for an additional portable concrete circle. Badger throwers will also have a 25’x25’ Evel Tarp with full 25’ high cage and Flightscope so that our throwers do not miss a beat while training indoors. Also, plenty of area to see discus, shot and javelin land on the turf area. This new space will more than serve our thrower needs when we train inside.

A throwback photo from the day I started to take throwing seriously. This is a pic from the 1995 Collinsville, IL IHSA Sectional. Coincidentally, the Triad Knights HS fight song is ‘On Wisconsin’.🧐 This is my 18th season as the throws coach at the University of Wisconsin.

👀 the Nike eggplants and the Gill Hollowood discus😃

Went to the big 🍎 at Icahn Stadium with some goals… make the final!
