Effective Wednesday, September 2, 2026, a new notification process will be implemented for customers with an email address on file. When continuous usage is detected for a period of seven days, an email notification will be sent advising you of the activity and allowing you to investigate as needed.

8.17.2026 at 7:30am - Outage status: Customers on High Street will experience a water outage due to a main break. Service is expected to be restored by 2:00pm

Please be advised that the southbound lane on Slaughter Road near Gateshead Circle will be closed on Tuesday, August 4, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. to allow Madison Utilities to complete scheduled work.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, expect possible delays, and use caution when traveling through the work zone. Please follow all posted traffic signs and directions from work crews.

Outage Status 6.16.2026 at 11:45am - Customers who live on East Inwood Circle, West Inwood Circle and 113-121 Inwood Trail will have in interruption in service while we work to repair a damaged water main. Service should be restored by 5:00 pm.

Outage Status 6.10.2026 at 11:00 a.m. - Customers on Slaughter Road in the area of Mingo and Yancy will have an interruption in service while we work to repair a damaged water main. Service should be restored by 4:00 p.m. today.

Madison Utilities was the proud winner of the Rotary of Madison Couch Potato Race on Saturday! We had fun with "The Waterboy" theme because we too have "high-quality H2O"!! The competition was tough but we dug in for the win! A great time was had by all!
