We are proud to be ‘Your Builder’ Murphy Homes started out as Murphy Construction.
We built custom homes and did upscale remodeling through out the 1970's. Our guiding principles from the beginning have been high construction quality, dedicated customer service and prudent business practices. Through the 1980's & 90's we built over 400 homes in the city of Madison in self developed communities like Millcreek Crossing, Pebble Brook, Liberty Square and Walden. Always with strong attention to customer service and satisfaction. My son, Charlie Murphy, spent most of his Saturdays on construction sites as soon as he could walk. The greatest reward this business has given me was when Charlie joined the firm after college in 2007. He has brought new life and brilliant ideas into the company. Through these new systems we are able to bring you a custom home experience at a better price than many of the tract builders provide. Murphy Homes went OVER THE EDGE this weekend for Kids to Love!
Our team took on an unforgettable challenge, rappelling down Regions Center in downtown Huntsville to raise money for an organization making a difference in the lives of children in foster care. Kids to Love works to provide children with the support, resources, and experiences they deserve!
We’re so proud of the Murphy Homes team members who stepped way outside their comfort zones to support such an incredible cause. Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and helped us make a difference!
