Wingra School

Summer Camp at Wingra School! We hope to see your camper soon. ☀️🌻😎

We were incredibly fortunate to have Vaunce Ashby join us this year as our artist in residence. She worked with our students to produce this beautiful quilt and talked with them about the deep history of quilting in the African American community. For the summer, the quilt will be displayed at before it finds its forever home on the walls of Wingra School. Thank you again to Vaunce for leading our students through this process.

Another incredible graduation is on the books! Congratulations to our 2026 graduates. We know you are ready to bring joy, kindness, and your powerful voices into your next chapter!

One of our RISE groups, Literacy for All, created a Little Free Library for our school. Thank you everyone for your donations!

Thank you to County Executive Melissa Agard & Alder person Tag Evers for coming to speak to our student council today! It was wonderful to hear about your experiences serving the citizens of Madison and Dane County.

The Wisconsin State Journal named an image from our Outdoor Day as the photo of the day!

So grateful for a visit from Multico this morning. We always appreciate the thoughtful exploration of real life scenarios from this West theater group! It was even more special because there were three Wingra Alumna in the group this year!
