Doting on Dogs

POV:
You said the word walk but haven’t moved yet.

👀🐾

Ever notice how dogs get the zoomies out of nowhere? 🌀

Those bursts of energy are totally normal and often mean your dog is feeling happy, excited, or relieved (especially after being cooped up too long).

Short walks, sniff breaks, and playtime help channel that energy in a good way — and make for a much calmer pup afterward. 😊

What does your dog do when the zoomies hit?

Hi everyone! 👋 I’m Anna, the human behind Doting on Dogs 🐶💛
I’m a single mom to two tiny humans under five, plus a full house that includes two dogs, two rats, and a hognose snake — so it’s safe to say animals are kind of my thing.

I moved back to Madison a couple of months ago after living in Colorado, and I’m happiest outside (especially in the cold). Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life — I grew up with all kinds of pets, have worked at dog daycares, and I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting since high school.

I’m so excited to be back in Madison and to dote on your pups like they’re my own 🐾

Loki is so happy with the current weather! ❄️🐾
Who else has a dog who lives for snow play?

Stay inside and stay warm — I’ll layer up and make sure your pup gets their snowy fun in.

Happy to help if your dog is begging to go out in this weather 😄

Hoping everyone is getting some well-deserved rest after Thanksgiving!
As we roll into the next round of holidays, I have availability for Christmas and New Year’s. If your pup needs a safe, loving place to stay, Loki and Niall would love some friends to sleep over!

What’re you doing down there?
I’m picking up strong ‘zoomies incoming’ energy.
Lucky for them, I know someone who can help.

Hello all! Loki here wanted me to send out the word that he’s ready for more house guests to play with!

Doting on Dogs is taking steps to ensure that you are most comfortable with our services during COVID.
Currently we are only doing overnights in our home and have limited availability for walks.
However, we are here to drop in on your pups and sit for them overnight whenever you need!
We also love the park, as long as your pup has park tags and is comfortable at the dog park we are more than happy to spend some time running around outside!

We also love cats and exotics and will drop in on any beloved pets you have!
We love having pup house guests to play and snuggle with!
We look forward to seeing you and your pups!
