Monday's Morsel from the Desk of Pastor Columbus Waddle, Jr.

Everywhere the Bible counsels that we trust God in good times and bad, during sunny skies and thunderclouds, when we have a pocket full of change and a pocket full of sawdust. Trust overcomes fear, trust overcomes depression, and trust overcomes hate.

1 Peter 4:19 KJV - Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

If you can’t get to or through the door, RAISE THE ROOF!! Get to Jesus by any means necessary!

Knowing that Christ suffered pain and faced temptation helps us face our trials. Jesus understands our struggles because He faced them as a human being. We can trust Christ to help us survive suffering and overcome temptation. When you face trials, go to Jesus for strength and patience.

Hebrews 2:18 KJV: For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Pastor Waddle preached from 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 today. His message title was: “Oneness in Christ.”

Key Takeaways:
We are many members, but one body.
God wants Unity, not uniformity.
When one hurts, we all hurt.
The only time you ought to look down on others is when you are picking them up.
We need each other to survive. Christ designed it that way.

The Angelic Choir rendered the song service. As we go through the week, let’s remember that Jesus is the Answer for the World Today.

To God be ALL GLORY!

Jesus made the first choice to love and to die for us, to invite us to live with Him forever. We make the next choice to accept or reject His offer. Without His choice, we would have no choice to make.

John 15:16 KJV - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it you.
