Grace Under Fire. 💗
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. But for so many women and families, breast cancer isn’t a month, a ribbon or a campaign. It’s their life.
For our sweet friend Kajay, that fight continues.
Last year, while Kajay was fighting triple-negative breast cancer, Grace Under Fire came to life almost by accident. Craig blended two of our scents, Grace + Bliss, and what he created was too good not to keep.
Knowing everything Kajay was facing, the name came naturally: Grace Under Fire.
A beautiful blend of soft white florals + musk, passion fruit, warm vanilla and patchouli.
We used that scent for last year’s fundraiser to support Kajay and her family. You all showed up in such a big way, and you loved the scent so much that when October ended, Grace Under Fire stayed. It became part of Magnolia Ritual and part of their story that we’ve continued to share all year long.
And we’re incredibly grateful it did, because Kajay is still fighting.
After 14 rounds of chemotherapy, a mastectomy and 42 radiation treatments, Kajay learned this spring that the cancer had spread to her liver. Today, she is living with Stage IV metastatic triple-negative breast cancer and continues chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
So this October, Grace Under Fire goes back to where it began.
50% of the profits from EVERY Grace Under Fire product sold throughout October will go directly to Kajay and her family. And 100% of additional donations made at checkout will go directly to them.
You’ll find Grace Under Fire throughout the Apothecary this month, along with our special October collection and limited-edition pink ribbon labeling created just for this campaign.
This month, we stand with Kajay. With those we’ve lost. With those still fighting. With the survivors. And with every family walking beside someone they love.
Because Breast Cancer Awareness Month is about so much more than wearing pink.
It’s about showing up. 💗

Today we’re celebrating someone pretty special to the Magnolia Ritual family. ❤️
Our Butchie turns 70 today!
You may not see him around the shop as much as you used to, but trust us when we say he is still very much part of what keeps things going around here.
Butchie is the one behind the scenes who is always taking care of us. The phone call when we need help, the person we can count on when something needs to be picked up, figured out, fixed, moved, built, or handled. And sometimes he’s taking care of something before we even realize we need it.
There are so many things he does that nobody outside of our little family ever sees, and that’s just who he is. He shows up for his people. ❤️
Magnolia Ritual has always been a family business in every sense of the word, and we’re incredibly lucky to have a dad, grandpa, and Butchie who has supported us and this crazy little shop through all of its seasons.
So today, we just want to make sure he gets a little extra love.
Happy 70th Birthday, Butchie! We love you so much, and we hope you know just how much all of us appreciate everything you do to take care of us. ❤️
