Evolution Printing

We’ve been hitting the trails... at least with signs! 😄
Here’s a look at some new outdoor signage we printed and installed for SYA Sports Park in Centreville. The project included durable ACM panels mounted on existing 4x4 posts and custom post-and-panel systems.
A fun project, a beautiful park, and signs built to handle the outdoors!
Thanks for trusting us to help!

A sign I can almost get down with...some country can stay. 🤠 Some of these are up for debate. Some are defo not 😂

Missing a few...who would yall add?

Everybody say hi to Garrett! Our lil buddy came to visit us with his mama Loren from City of Manassas Virginia Parks, Culture & Recreation . He was so excited to pick up his America 250 stickers he immediately started chanting USA! USA! USA! We feel the same way buddy! 🇺🇸

Ta - dah! Fun stuff, told ya! 😎

Another local 💩 sign... a lil clarification is needed 🧐

Heather Elaine found us a true 💩 sign, several of them actually. This guy loooves poo 😬

Time for a 💩 sign!!

Girl.... we appreciate you and your efforts 🫡 😬😵‍💫

Today's 💩 sign is a local one.

Found in Culpeper. I got nothin 😂

Exterior signs are seen at a distance. Often at speed. Sometimes at awkward angles or frequently inconsistent light. And typically for no more than two or three seconds.

Here are three simple things (tried and true by your EVO team!) you can do to pressure test your concept before it reaches production:

👁 Squint test: If the message softens or disappears when you squint, contrast likely needs strengthening

🩶 Grayscale test: we remove color entirely. Does the hierarchy still hold? If the collapses you're relying on Hue instead of structure.

🚗 The drive by test: drive by a sign and glance at it for 2 seconds. What sticks? What do you remember about it?

When the design struggles under these tests, the solution is rarely more embellishment. It's almost always simplification 🧡
