He's working on his impulsivity outside the house to not get overly excited and jumpy when he is having fun.

LeBron just needs a soft place to land for 10 days until his foster returns from travel. He promises to be on his best behavior!

LeBron's foster is going one of town 10/14-23. We had someone who committed to taking him for the 9 days, but stood us up for the home visit. All this with only one week's time to find another plan 🤦‍♀️

LeBron is potty trained and crate trained. Like a typical teenager, this 9-month-old 62 lb of love is working hard on his impulse control and managing his enthusiasm! He loves other dogs and has many friends at playgroup, but could exhibit a bit too much puppy energy for dogs who prefer a more peaceful existence. Given his exuberant personality and size, we do not recommend homes with small children.

🚨‼️PARVO STRIKES AGAIN‼️🚨
Poor Roti just arrived on Saturday. By Sunday evening, he was having raging diarrhea 💦 and by Monday morning he stopped eating and vomited the little food he did eat the night before. He started to get dumpy and lethargic. So we rushed him to the vet and, our worst nightmare, he tested positive for parvo 😭😫🤒

Thankfully, his amazing foster was SO attentive and caught all the symptoms early and got him the help he needed as quickly as possible! Roti is now on the mend 🙏

We are so happy that he seems to have turned a corner. The unexpected medical expense for his care and treatment did set us back a bit financially.

Rocko and his siblings were found dumped in a box 📦 It shatters our hearts to think that he was discarded as if he was garbage. Rocko is 10000% not garbage. He is so loving and so smart. At 11 weeks of age and still working on potty training, he already knows to indicate when he needs to go out. And when he can't hold it, he knows to go on the p*e pad. Sure, his aim could be better, but the effort is there!

This 11.6lbs of mostly ears👂is ready to find his forever home and his forever humans who will return his love and loyalty as fiercely as he gives them out. He's been told all his life he's not good enough. He's too black. His ears are too big and he looks like Yoda. He's not deserving of love. And then tossed out like he wasn't worth anything. We know his luck is about to turn for the better and become the treasure for a human deserving of his love.

Sweet, gentle, affectionate, joyful... These words instantly come to mind when talking about Nugget. But this 1-year-old 75 lb scruffy hunk of a good boy is so much more! Like teens of all species, he's still learning how to be his best self. Most notably when it comes to giving people hugs without consent, and stealing food from places where he has no business to be. Nevertheless, these are all things that can be resolved through training. The core of who he is, the essence of his good nature personality, is what makes him a gem💎 These traits that make him the perfect family dog and these qualities that make us fall in love with him are hard to come by!

Nugget loves all friends! Dogs 🦮 humans 👩‍🦱 children👧cats🐱he does not discriminate. However, he is a little too playful with his feline friends and likes to play chase, which is not always appreciated. So to spare the kitties from headaches and anguish, we recommend a home without cats. Nugget also does not have any concept of personal space. Which is perfect for someone looking for a body pillow to snuggle with. However, when it comes to smaller humans, some extra supervision and coaching might be needed so no one gets knocked over.

Oakley has a BIG day today as he heads to the vet to be neutered ✂️✂️

Our handsome boy is looking for a ride back to his foster home this afternoon/evening. Picking up from Arlington between 5-7pm to be dropped off in Rockville.

Oakley is a great car rider and super compact at only 28ish lbs! He will be the perfect companion for any MD commuters working in NoVa battling the beltway. He'll keep you sane and purposeful 💓
