Guitarist, songwriter, recording artist and instructor. Founder of String Theory Guitar Studio. Bringing real-world musicianship to every lesson.
Former member of Once Upon a Tyme… (Hit City Records/ Turner's World Publishing).
Life took me from recording and touring to decades in business—and eventually back to the work that never really left: music.
VoyageVirginia invited me to share that journey and why I created String Theory Guitar Studio for adults ready to begin—or begin again.

Hi Everyone! I had the pleasure or reconnecting with an old friend this past week, Steve Elmore, at Coastal 3-D Printing. He created an AWESOME light box for the STGS studio. It was great catching up! Go check out Steve at Coastal 3-D Printing, and check out his app: https://web.3dprintmastermindpro.com
Better ideas. Better prints. Less wasted plastic.
From creative 3D printing to smarter troubleshooting, Coastal 3D Printing helps makers turn good ideas into successful prints. Their 3D Print Mastermind Pro app quickly diagnoses common problems like poor bed adhesion, stringing, warping, extrusion issues and layer shifting—with guided fixes designed to improve consistency and save time and filament.
Create it. Fix it. Print it better.

Thinking about learning guitar?
You don’t need a musical background or a reason to wait anymore.
You just need a little curiosity and someone who can help you make sense of it all without overcomplicating it.
At String Theory Guitar Studio, I work with adult beginners, returning players, and people who want guitar to become part of their life. We proudly support our veterans and active duty military, and our first responder communities.
