As we enter back-to-school season, we want to highlight our educational space design. Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (KDHSA) presented us with a unique challenge: designing a library that caters to diverse student learning styles. Mobile seating, collaborative desks, and single-person nooks allow for flexibility and reconfigurability for events, lessons, and student activities. Designing educational spaces to be multi-purposeful is essential for creating a productive learning environment. This installation was a collaboration with Build Impetus, Sizeler Architects, and Albright Consulting.

KV Workspace created a sleek and clean look in the showrooms and offices at Royal Honda in Metairie. Lounge and waiting areas were outfitted with Haworth Poppy chairs and Tuohy Pleat Lounge, creating a welcoming and high-end atmosphere, while individual offices, touchdown areas, and a breakroom provide functional and comfortable spaces for employees. This design strikes a balance between professionalism and warmth, making the space inviting for both clients and staff.

The LUMCON Marine Consortium in Houma, LA, recently expanded its state-of-the-art facility with a new build that enhances its mission to promote, facilitate, and conduct research and education collaborations among Louisiana’s universities in marine and coastal sciences. As part of this project, KV Workspace provided chairs, tables, storage, and lab casework from a state contract manufacturer. With this expansion, LUMCON continues to explore new ways to support the sustainability of the coastal and marine environments of the Gulf of Mexico.
