This summer, Cadet Juniper Huggard is representing the K-State Army ROTC Wildcat Battalion at Cadet Summer Training (CST) at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Cadet Summer Training is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences in an Army ROTC cadet's development. Throughout CST, cadets are evaluated on their leadership, decision-making, physical fitness, land navigation, tactical skills, and ability to perform under pressure while leading and working as part of a team.
We are proud of Cadet Huggard for embracing this opportunity to grow as a leader and future Army officer. The dedication, resilience, and professionalism demonstrated at CST reflect the values of the Wildcat Battalion and the future of our Army.
Join us in wishing Cadet Huggard the very best as they continue to develop into our nation's next generation of leaders.
Lead. Train. Inspire.

Congratulations to Cadet Gunnar McLean on the opportunity to participate in Cadet Troop Leader Training (CTLT) at Fort Cavazos, Texas.
CTLT provides Army ROTC cadets with a unique opportunity to experience life as a junior officer by working alongside active-duty Army leaders. During the program, cadets observe and assist platoon leaders and other commissioned officers, gaining valuable insight into daily operations, leadership responsibilities, training management, and the realities of leading Soldiers.
This hands-on experience bridges the gap between classroom instruction and service as a commissioned officer, allowing cadets to develop professionally while learning from experienced Army leaders across the force.
We are proud of Cadet McLean for representing the K-State Army ROTC Wildcat Battalion with professionalism, dedication, and a commitment to excellence. Experiences like CTLT help prepare our future officers to confidently lead Soldiers and make an immediate impact upon commissioning.
Please join us in congratulating Cadet McLean on this outstanding professional development opportunity!
