Thanks to everyone who dropped by to our MarioKart tournament today. Only one more week until Kickoff, and the start of our countdown to 10 years of EGD!

Happy first day back from EGD! Studio Track and Crews started today at the NYC Hub.

was yesterday, so here’s some pics from to celebrate!! 🧇🧇🧇

For those who never heard, Waffle Games is EGD’s free annual NYC gaming convention & conference held every spring by emerging adults with a goal to redefine what being involved in games & gaming communities means. 🎮

It’s an event that reinforces our fight for affordable games industry education, esports legitimization on college campuses, and the recognition of games as art.

The BEST highlight though? Cmon, the free waffles ofc 🤤🧇

Thanks again to The City College of New York and CCNY Digital Game Development for helping us put the event together!

Yum, waffles.

🪄The magic & donuts are calling!

We’re thrilled to be starting a fundraiser alongside GroupRaise and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to help raise money to send our Studio Track students to Walt Disney World this January for an educational trip!🎢🍩

This trip is just one of the diverse experiences we provide to emerging adults to expand their horizons, creatively & professionally.

2026 marks 10 YEARS of EGD‼️‼️🥳🎉

(Some of you are feeling old, aren’t you 😛)

For a decade now, EGD has worked to help emerging adults finish their education, grow as leaders, prepare for career paths in and outside of the games industry, and find their place within the gaming community.

And it’s because all of you chose to join us in that mission that we’re here now 🥰

So for the next few months until EGD’s birthday in November, we’ll be celebrating the students, alumni, volunteers, industry partners, and supporters who’ve made EGD what it is today!

We’ll highlight the stories of those in our community who’ve made an impact, share some favorite memories, AND introduce our ✨SHINY NEW✨ structure of work that’ll better help ALL emerging adults develop in career & leadership! 🔥

Thank you so much to everyone who’s been a part of our party for the past 10 years. It’s been an amazing journey, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next!! 🤩
