Jays Development Center

The mission of Jays Legacy Youth Development Center is to provide respectful support to persons with disabilities so they may attain fulfilling lives in the community. We firmly believe that all individuals, whatever their level, have the right to participate in community life. Through the use of community resources, technologies and caring guidance, individuals are able to have experiences with increased personal growth, happiness and quality of life. Our after school program offers unique and structured services. After a thorough assessment is completed, we design a program based on the youths needs. We use evidence-based programming to work on areas in need. Some services that would be incorporated into the program includes:
Community integration
Fitness and health/nutrition
Personal responsibility
Social/emotional
Recreation
Daily living skills
Family support
Vocational support
