Austin German Shepherd Rescue

🐾 Cooper Pupdate 🐾

Oh my, what a GEM this boy is! Cooper is an AMAZING houseguest and settling beautifully into his new routine. He’s calm in the home, knows some basic commands, gets along great with the resident shepherds, and can even be trusted free range when his foster leaves.

Overall: 100/10 good boy. 🥹🐾

But this pupdate is about more than Cooper. It’s about every single person who helped save his life.

Cooper was on “the list,” and we can only save dogs like him when our village steps up.

🚗 The volunteers who transport dogs from shelters to the vet, fosters, and forever homes.
🏡 The fosters who open their homes and give them a safe place to land.
💙 The donors who make their medical care and rehabilitation possible. Cooper will undergo costly heartworm treatment before he’s ready for his next chapter.
📱 And every person who likes, comments, and shares our posts so these dogs reach the widest network possible.

Together, we saved Cooper’s life. And he was SO worth it. 🖤

Just like so many German Shepherds sitting on shelter lists across Texas today.

Thank you for continuing to show up. Thank you for staying committed. And thank you for helping us keep saying YES to German Shepherds in need.

Tail wags,
