Some closings are business. Some are personal. And then there are closings like THIS ONE. ❤️

Years ago, I had the privilege of selling this beautiful family’s home here in Manvel, Texas, before they packed up and started a new chapter in Georgia.

Then came the call I was more than happy to receive:

“We’re coming back to Texas!” 🤠🏡

They came to Texas for ONE weekend to find their new home. And would you believe the VERY FIRST HOUSE I showed them ended up being THE ONE?! 🙌🏽

And not just any house… a beautiful home sitting on 2 ACRES! 🌳🏡✨ Plenty of room to breathe, enjoy family, make memories, and start this next chapter back home in Texas., oh and a pool and I hope I get an invite to😂😂

And today… WE CLOSED! 🎉🔑

But this one means a little more to me because somewhere along the way, we became more than Realtor® and clients. Our daughters became good friends, our families became connected, and now I get to welcome them HOME to Texas. ❤️

And to make this story even sweeter, Mrs. Williams is considering getting into real estate herself. 👀🎀 I absolutely LOVE seeing women step into new possibilities, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her!

Some transactions just feel like they were meant to be, and this was truly one of the smoothest and most enjoyable transactions of my career! 🎀🔑

It all started with a referral from my cousin, Alex. Alex, THANK YOU for trusting me enough to refer your physician partner to me. Referrals are never something I take lightly. One evening, Ms. Christina and I had a long conversation about what she wanted in her new home. She knew what she liked, she knew what she didn’t like, and one thing was definitely on the wish list—a beautiful home with a SWIMMING POOL! 🏊🏽‍♀️☀️

A few days later, we went out looking. She found THE ONE, we submitted the offer, went under contract, and just like that… WE CLOSED! 🎉🔑

And when I tell you this transaction was SMOOTH… it was SMOOTH!

One week ago today, we dropped our baby girl, Kaleigh, off at her college dorm. 🎓💕 Being the baby of the family, dropping her off hit a little differently. After raising three children, my husband and I officially entered a new season of life… we are empty nesters. 🥹

There has definitely been some mental and emotional adjusting. As a mother, there is so much joy in watching your children grow, accomplish their goals, and become the people you prayed they would be. But there’s also a part of your heart that wishes you could keep them close just a little longer. ❤️

Today, exactly one week later, we made the drive back just to take our baby girl to lunch. 🥰 And I was SO happy to see her! I miss her more than words can explain.

I’m incredibly grateful for the life God has blessed us with. To have raised three children, watch them grow and do well, and now have the opportunity to send our youngest off to college is something I will never take for granted. God has truly been faithful through every season.

And to our village—THANK YOU. ❤️ Thank you for loving our children, praying for them, encouraging them, and being there for our family through the good times and the difficult ones. It truly takes a village, and God has blessed us with an amazing one.

Kaleigh, continue to put God FIRST. Keep praying, keep working hard, stay focused, and trust Him even when you don’t understand the path ahead. Mommy and Daddy are always here, cheering you on every step of the way. 🎀🎓❤️
