Barbara Bennett Elementary

Bennett Blue Jays truly enjoyed watching the musical performance of Finding Nemo by students from surrounding elementary schools! They definitely know how to put on a great show!

🎉💙 GUESS WHAT, BENNETT BLUE JAYS?! 💙🎉

We are SO excited to celebrate an incredible accomplishment! 🏆✨

Way to soar, Bennett Blue Jays! 🐦💙

Let’s keep those attendance numbers flying HIGH! 🚀🏆

A big thank you to our amazing Blue Jays PTO for the wonderful coffee treat for National Coffee Day!☕️

We appreciated it so much!

🎉 LET'S GO! 🎉 Our Bennett Blue Jay Fun Run starts TODAY! We're raising $20,000 for campus enhancements including a canopy for our playground, and every sign-up, share, and donation helps us get closer to our goal.

If we reach it, registered families can earn day passes and enjoy a day of family fun together. Plus, students can earn their very own Wolf Ears just for participating! 🐺

What a wonderful way to connect summer experience with classroom learning. This student shared her visit to the museum of Fine Arts in Houston featuring Frida Kahlo and taught her classmates about the artist's life and work. So proud of her confidence and curiosity.

On Friday, our 4th grade GT students went on a GT field trip to the Houston Health Museum and completed stations and labs in the DeBakey Cell Lab. Thank you Mrs. Evans for scheduling such an amazing experience.

Bennett students and staff shared their love for Dolly by dressing in western, pink, and Dolly attire.

Ms. Campos' kindergarten class is learning to build sentences with nouns. Way to go.

Staff of the week goes to... Drum Roll... Officer Bowers! He is so much more than the person who helps keep our campus safe—he is truly a part of our Bennett family! You can find him helping in the cafeteria, building positive relationships with our students, assisting with traffic control, and always being there to help wherever he is needed. He takes the time to get to know our students, creates meaningful connections, and makes a positive impact on our campus every day. We are incredibly thankful for his dedication, kindness, and commitment to keeping our Blue Jays safe!

Our Fundraiser kicks off on Tuesday! 🎯 Any student registered on MyBooster.com BEFORE our kickoff next week will get to wear PJs to school on Tuesday 9/29! 🎉Have you signed up your student for Bennett Blue Jay Fun Run yet?
