Join us November 6th-8th for a weekend of knitting, crochet, and fiber fun at in Alexandria, MN. The Amazing Threads Weekend Getaway is a fun event to gather with and meet new fiber friends while working on your projects! Bring your current work-in-progress or stop in the shop for inspiration on a new project to cast-on during the event!

During the Getaway, we are excited to be hosting Mary of 29 Bridges Studio as our featured indie-dyer! We can't wait to share her beautiful yarns with you all in a shoppable trunk show. Jessica of The Knitted Butterfly & Sweet Pea Penelope and Sweet Pea Penelope will be joining us in person with her beautiful assortment of stitch markers, notions, and custom bags! And Andrea Lui, PT, DPT, OCS, author of Craft Without Pain, will be giving a presentation during our event! Of course, we will also have our Getaway Shop available for a little retail therapy, with a few extra surprises in store.

We're returning to Arrowwood this year as they have been busy with various renovations throughout the resort. We have arranged for our room block to be specifically for the newly renovated rooms! Additionally, we are pleased to share that Katie, the amazing lead event coordinator/catering staff is still there, and we can't wait to enjoy her dedicated and attentive service once again!

An optional add-on excursion for w**e/b**r tasting at Carlos Creek Winery on Saturday at 12PM is available for attendees to register for. Enjoy your choice of w**e or b**r flight. Transportation to and from the w**ery will be provided.

Yarnover is this weekend! We will be at the Marketplace this Saturday from 8:00AM to 5:30PM with some of your favorites. Yarnover is a great, local conference hosted by the Minnesota Knitters' Guild held at a new location - the Hilton DoubleTree in St. Louis Park. Registrants have the opportunity to take a variety of classes and participate in several events over the weekend. Didn’t register, no problem! The Marketplace is open to the public! Anyone can come shop the marketplace full of amazing vendors, including some fabulous indie dyers, makers, yarn shops, and more. See you on Saturday!
