"I'm still working, so Medicare can wait."
I hear this one a lot, and it's one of the most commonly missed situations out there.
Being employed at 65 doesn't automatically mean you're in the clear. Depending on the size of your employer and how your current coverage works, you may still need to enroll in certain parts of Medicare on time. Miss that window, and you could be looking at penalties that stick with you.

"I'll deal with Medicare when I actually need it."
I get why people think this way, but it's one of the costliest assumptions out there.
Waiting until you need care to enroll can permanently increase your premiums and limit which plans are even available to you. The best time to enroll isn't when a health issue comes up, it's before you need it at all.

Meet Laura Penton, an integral part of the Anderson Benefit Partners team.
As an Account Manager, Laura is behind so much of what makes us special. She provides daily service to clients, builds detailed and user-friendly group benefit guides, develops client proposals, and diligently manages employee eligibility to making sure everything stays clear and operations move from start to finish without a hitch.
Outside of work, Laura's biggest fans are her two kids, and you can usually find her cheering them on at one of their many sports and activities.

"My doctor's in-network, right?" is a question I hear a lot, and honestly, it's one of the most important ones you can ask.
A lot of people assume all health plans work with the same doctors and hospitals. They don't. Networks vary widely, and going out-of-network, even by accident, can turn a routine visit into a surprisingly expensive one.
