Dojo Karate is a school teaching American Karate, we currently have 10 locations throughout Minnesota
Dojo Karate Maple Grove teaches westernized Korean Tae Kwon Do, or American Karate. Located in Maple Grove MN, we make it convenient for families around the Twin Cities to practice Karate together. Our focus is on the success of each of our students, ranging from preschoolers to adults with classes uniquely designed to meet needs & abilities of each student, ensuring their success through exercise

August 2013 we did our first Maple Grove community event. National night out kickoff. We signed up our first student Bert Reps, who then started for his first class march of the following year. He is still with us today practicing karate competing and instructing students giving back to the community. Come out and join us for a couple hours of festivities Maple Grove Central Park.

Every great martial artist begins by watching, listening, and following their instructor. As students practice each movement together, they're building much more than karate skills. They're developing confidence, focus, discipline, and respect.
With every class, they learn to believe in themselves, stay attentive, and push through challenges. These lessons don't stop at the dojo. They help students succeed at school, at home, and in everyday life.

This student is locked in, eyes on the target, preparing to deliver a strong backfist. Before the technique comes the focus. Learning to block out distractions, stay present, and commit to the task at hand is a skill that goes far beyond karate.
As the new school year approaches, we're helping our students build the concentration, confidence, and discipline they'll take with them into the classroom. Whether it's listening to a teacher, finishing homework, or facing a new challenge, focus is a skill that sets them up for success.
Every class is another opportunity to grow, one punch, one kick, and one lesson at a time.
