Meet Kiwi (female) & Teddy (male)! These best friends were surrendered to the shelter on 6/28 after their family's housing situation changed. Their former family shared that both dogs are house-trained and good with children. Kiwi could use a nail trim and a little help reaching a healthy weight, but with some love and care, she'll be feeling her best in no time. Because of his age, Teddy may have the occasional accident in the house. Teddy also has skin allergies that will need veterinary care so he can look and feel his best. If you have a soft spot for deserving dogs who may be overlooked, come meet Teddy and Kiwi - you just might find your perfect match!
Kiwi is approximately 6 years old, and weighs 86 lbs. Teddy is approximately 8 years old, and weighs 46 lbs. Both are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative.
Crystal - ID # 20045 - Kennel #50 - Arrived June 16th - Shepherd Mix - Gold and White - Female - 10 Months Old - 40.375 lbs - Estimated Adult Weight 50-60 lbs - Will Be Spayed Prior to Adoption - Up to Date on Vaccines - Heartworm Negative
Crystal is a ten-month-old gold and white Shepherd mix with a stunning chestnut and white coat, a bold white blaze down her face, and a pair of pale, striking eyes that are absolutely impossible to forget. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 16th and the people who know her say her coloring is something special - and one look confirms that completely. At 40 lbs and still growing, she is estimated to reach 50 to 60 lbs as an adult - a beautiful, athletic girl with so much wonderful dog still to come.
Inside her kennel Crystal is a little shy and reserved - but the moment she gets outside, everything changes. She transforms into a joyful, playful, toy-obsessed girl who loves nothing more than grabbing as many toys as she can carry - and she has been known to fit three in her mouth at the same time. She already knows sit and lay down, which is a wonderful foundation for a ten-month-old dog still finding her footing.
The shyness Crystal shows inside is simply a reflection of how overwhelming the shelter environment can be - especially for a young, sensitive dog. The real Crystal is the one who bursts through that door, grabs her toys, and reminds everyone around her exactly how fun and wonderful she truly is. A calm, patient home will bring that girl out for good.
Crystal is beautiful, playful, and full of personality just waiting to shine. She is waiting in Kennel #50 with those extraordinary pale eyes and that gorgeous gold and white coat, ready for someone patient enough to earn her trust and lucky enough to discover everything she has to give. Come meet her - she is going to be someone's absolute favorite.

Dot - ID # 19718 - Kennel #716 - Arrived June 6th - Domestic Shorthair Mix - Black and White - Female - 6 Weeks Old - 1.5 lbs - Estimated Adult Weight 8-10 lbs - Will Be Spayed Prior to Adoption - Up to Date on Vaccines - FIV/FeLV Negative
Dash is a six-week-old black and white Domestic Shorthair kitten with soft blue eyes, a classic tuxedo pattern, white paws, and an expression of such pure, gentle sweetness that it stops people in their tracks. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 6th alongside her sister Dot, and at just 1.625 lbs she is one of the tiniest, most precious things the shelter has seen in a long time. Dash and Dot together are a pair that makes even the most seasoned shelter volunteer stop and stare.
Dot is a six-week-old black and white Domestic Shorthair kitten with wide blue-grey eyes, a tiny white mustache marking, a white chest, and the kind of wide-eyed, wondering expression that makes very young kittens so completely irresistible. At just 1.5 lbs Dot is barely bigger than a handful, but her presence is anything but small.
These sisters arrived here on June 6th and have been tucked together ever since - a pair of black and white bookends who are as charming and sweet as they are small.
If the right home had room for both it would be something truly special.
Toby - ID # 20077 - Kennel #608 - Arrived June 17th - Domestic Shorthair Mix - Orange Tabby - Male - Approximately 1-2 Years Old - 10.125 lbs - Will Be Neutered Prior to Adoption - Up to Date on Vaccines - FIV/FeLV Negative
Toby is an approximately one to two year old orange tabby Domestic Shorthair mix with a warm, bright ginger coat, subtle tabby striping, and a pair of soft green eyes that give him a gentle, quietly expressive look. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 17th and this handsome, house trained boy is ready in every way for the home he deserves. Orange tabbies have a special kind of warmth about them, and Toby is no exception.
Toby is house trained and good with children - a well rounded, easygoing cat who will slot comfortably into almost any living situation. At just over 10 lbs he is a nicely proportioned, medium sized cat in the prime of his life - past the chaotic kitten stage and fully settled into the handsome cat he is today. He is FIV/FeLV negative and will be neutered prior to adoption, ready in every way to walk straight into a loving home.
Because Toby's full background is unknown, his personality is still revealing itself in the shelter environment. What is known is that he is house trained, good with children, and ready in every way for a loving home where he can finally settle in and show someone exactly who he is. The cat who emerges once he feels safe and comfortable is going to be a wonderful surprise for whoever is patient enough to give him that chance.
Toby is a gorgeous, warm-hearted ginger boy with so many wonderful years ahead of him. He is waiting in Kennel #608 with those soft green eyes and that glowing orange coat, ready for the person who will give him the loving, permanent home he deserves. Come meet him - that sweet ginger face will stay with you long after you leave.
