MENTAL HEALTH CARE ISN’T ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL.

Sometimes weekly support is enough.

Sometimes you need more structure, more connection, and more opportunities to practice skills in real time.

Life Adjustment Team offers Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs that bring together clinical support, evidence-based tools, and community.

Because meaningful progress isn’t just about understanding what’s happening.

It’s also about having the support and structure to practice something different.

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

Su***de prevention is not only about what we do in a crisis. It is also about creating environments where people can speak honestly about their pain, feel less alone, and know where to turn when they need support.

If you’re concerned about someone, don’t be afraid to start the conversation. You don’t need to have the right words or know how to fix what they’re experiencing. Being present, listening without judgment, and helping someone connect with appropriate support can make a meaningful difference.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. If there is an immediate threat to safety, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

As summer unfolds, it’s a natural time to check in, not only on vacations and plans, but on our well-being. While the season often brings opportunities to recharge, it can also disrupt routines, increase family responsibilities, or create added stress. Maintaining your mental health doesn’t require perfection; it begins with small, consistent habits and knowing when to ask for support.

We launched Afternoon IOP because access to mental health care should fit into real life—not compete with it.

Not everyone is able to step away from work, school, caregiving, or daily responsibilities to attend traditional morning or evening programs. Many people are still showing up for life while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or emotionally stretched thin—and need a level of support that meets them where they are.

Afternoon IOP was created to fill that gap.

This program is for individuals who are:
• Experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, or emotional overwhelm
• Feeling stuck, burnt out, or unable to manage everything alone
• In need of more structured support than weekly therapy provides
• Looking for practical coping tools, consistency, and accountability
• Seeking a supportive group environment and clinical guidance during the day

Healing doesn’t only happen outside of daily life—it has to be able to happen within it.

Afternoon IOP brings care into the middle of the day, so support is more accessible, more flexible, and more aligned with how people actually live.

Freedom is more than a historical milestone—it is the ability to live with dignity, safety, opportunity, and hope.

This Juneteenth, we honor the resilience of those who endured unimaginable hardship, celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black communities, and reflect on the ongoing work of building a more equitable future.

At Life Adjustment Team, we recognize that mental health is deeply connected to our lived experiences, our communities, and our sense of belonging. Healing requires more than individual strength—it requires support, connection, and environments where people can flourish.

Today, we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the power of collective healing.

Happy Juneteenth.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that awareness is only the beginning.

At Life Adjustment Team (LAT), we believe support has to move beyond insight and into daily life. Through our outpatient mental health program (IOP/PHP) and in-home mental health program, we provide structured, real-world care that helps individuals build emotional regulation skills, improve functioning, and feel more stable in their everyday environments.

Our approach to mental health treatment in Los Angeles focuses on bridging the gap between therapy and real life—so clients aren’t just understanding themselves, but actively learning how to navigate relationships, responsibilities, and challenges with support in place.

Mental health is not a one-time conversation. It’s ongoing care, consistency, and connection.

If you or someone you know is looking for outpatient mental health support or in-home services, Life Adjustment Team is here to help.
