From Blu-ray & DVD Divers to HDMI Port repair done same day. Only use state of the art, cutting edge equipment as seen in our videos. Not a heat gun from Lowe's. Give us a call and tell us what you have.
Folk what is you doing to your Playstation 5?!?! π They were not pleased to find out that all of the USB ports are broken but I gave the option to either take the console back or I can fix it for my fee. They tried negotiating but I denied as my prices for two of these bad boys falls under the market average π so they agreed and now we are in business.
He said "I definitely got my money's worth" which made me think I charged too little. Fun fact my repair prices are below the market average. Even if there's more damage I try to keep the repair at the same cost. So that people don't think they're being punished for attempting a repair or taking it somewhere else and getting ripped off. I do charge more for certain repairs like that ridiculous fan connector π but for HDMI ports as long as the damage is in the same area as the ports I keep it at a flat rate.
I see a couple like this a month. This extreme damage and buildup is caused by a few things. Smoking, candles, leaving the console in rest mode for long periods of time and potentially va**ng. This is the abnormal damage that CANNOT be completely fixed. I have seen no other "tech repair" "influencers" speak on this. Even with isopropyl alcohol and metal polish there was still build up. Which I use a razor blade to fix. For all the haters who say using a razor blade ruins it, this video is for you. Maybe YOU can't use a razor blade properly but I can obviously and it works great. Another console saved ππ
Hmmmm π€
All jokes aside I had somebody try to pay me with the organic material before and I said no thanks. He then proceeded to pay the normal fee and then set two bags full of this stuff on my counter π but I do not partake so it was "destroyed" by someone else I donated it to.
This is the 3rd and last video made on this PlayStation 5. When I tell you I short tested this and tried so many different things you have no idea. I don't know what ended up happening. The Via diode reading originally and the voltage values were completely out of whack. Maybe it's because I power cycled it so much? Not sure, I even tried a different fan previously. All of a sudden when I said I give up, I try again and it has restored the proper values. π I'm happy with the result. But I don't know how it happened.
This one was a challenge. π There are two other options in this type of repair. One would be to de-layer the motherboard and find the trace that goes to the south bridge chip. The other option is taking 3.3v or 5v from another spot. 3.3v is obviously the safer option which as you can see here will do exactly what we need.
This PS5 is not an uncommon thing to see. Younger owners of them typically decide to cut away at the plastic for some reason. I don't know why this is so common but it doesn't work. So I recommend just taking your console to a reputable shop to get it repaired. There was a surprise inside though. A pad ripped up which I had to retrace. Simple nothing too crazy.
It's like detailing but for a PS5 with overheating issues instead of a car with fancy wheels π
This worked like magic. I was actually shocked how in a few seconds it completely removed all damage to the heatsink. The reason I used this instead of something "specifically made for PS5" is this is widely available and can be bought at auto parts stores.
I always used alcohol previously but some consoles that are around smokers, left in rest mode too much or have candles around them typically have worse damage that takes some elbow grease and wishes to get off. This worked incredibly well and I will be using it from now on.
Wait that's not a new console! ππ€¬ This Xbox one s is in really good condition so I agreed to repair it. Sometimes I have to tell people I can't work on them due to poor conditions that waste both my time and the customers and are a money pit. That being said this was for a 1st grade teacher and that's a really hard job π so of course I'm going to fix it. I know well that she needs a break to game on the weekends.
Yea this one was suspicious to say in the least. There is no sign of overheating. Occasionally the HDMI port if broken can cause the console to stop displaying when it gets warm. Either way in an unbiased fashion I did both repairs in hopes it will fix the issue. It's been running for a while now and I'm not seeing a problemπ
