Today, we’re honoring our friend and Sticky Rice team member, Angel “Monito.” 🤍🕊️

All profits from today’s b**r sales (pecan location) + house-made alfajores (both locations), one of Monito’s favorite desserts, will go directly to his wife to help support his family and funeral expenses.

If you’d like to contribute directly, our GoFundMe is linked in our bio.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated, shared, reached out, or shown Monito’s family some love. It means more than we can say. 🤍🕊️

In Memory of Angel “Monito” — Supporting His Family

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our friend and Sticky Rice Sushi team member, Angel, lovingly known to us as “Monito.”

Monito was a special part of our team, and his loss is deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. He meant so much to so many of us, and his absence leaves an incredible void.

We have created this GoFundMe to support his wife during this incredibly difficult time. All donations will go directly toward funeral expenses and helping provide support for his wife as she navigates the days ahead.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean just as much to us.

Thank you for helping us surround Monito’s wife and loved ones with support and care during this time. We are incredibly grateful for our community and for everyone who has reached out to show their love.

We will miss you, Monito. ❤️
