We get asked a lot of the same questions when someone’s starting to think about a kitchen remodel. What should I splurge on? What’s actually worth it? What do people regret skipping?
After 200+ kitchens across DFW, here’s what we always come back to:
Custom cabinetry, built around how you actually use the space, not a standard layout. Getting the floor plan and work zones figured out before a single finish is chosen. Choosing stone that can handle real daily use (marble is gorgeous, but it’s not built for a busy kitchen island). Power built into the cabinetry instead of interrupting a beautiful backsplash. And appliances that disappear into the design instead of standing out.

This attic build-out is officially starting to feel like a livable space!
Drywall is in, insulation is complete, pocket doors are installed, and tile work is underway. Next up, cabinets, paint, trim, and all the finishing details.
Once complete, this space will have a kitchenette, bathroom, closet, full wall of cabinetry, and a custom slide-out bed.
A lot of progress since we first stepped into this attic. 👏
