We believe cake heals, and brings joy, and creates emotions and feelings only a moist delicious chocolate cake can bring. We believe there is a reason cake and sweets are there for every special moment in your life, they make them richer and celebratory. We believe it is a true honor to be invited into your homes, and weddings, and celebrations. We believe in whole food: butter, flour, sugar, salt, chocolate, pure vanilla extract and a lot of love. We do not believe in preservatives, artificial flavorings, shortening, or freezers. That is what makes us different and sets us apart. That is why you and your loved ones will fall head over heels in love with our amazing desserts time and time again.

To our incredible customers, our amazing Layered and Room One Eleven team and family: today marks the beginning of a new chapter. Thanks to your support, we’ve officially purchased the building that has been home to our concepts since 2017. We are endlessly grateful to everyone who made this possible, especially our entire team, with a special thanks to Felipe for his leadership and to Janet for all your help along the way. Thank you also to our landlord, John Rattan, for being so helpful and understanding all these years. This purchase secures our future here and gives us a second floor to explore—stay tuned to see how we expand!

Today, the world lost a true legend, storyteller, and beacon of kindness. We’ve always been proud to have Dolly watching over our Doc's Lounge, but tonight her presence on our wall means just a little bit more. Thank you for the music, the laughter, and the grace, Dolly.
