CRI is hiring a Tier 3 Video Management System (VMS) Support Engineer!

We’re looking for an experienced VMS engineer who can take on the toughest technical challenges across an enterprise video surveillance environment.

This is a Tier 3 escalation role for someone skilled in diagnosing complex incidents, resolving major outages, conducting root cause analysis, and optimizing distributed VMS infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings:
– 4-5+ years supporting enterprise VMS or physical security systems
– Hands-on experience with Genetec Security Center and/or Surveill
– Advanced troubleshooting across IP networking, Windows Server, and storage
– Experience with high-availability and distributed environments
– Strong knowledge of H.264/H.265, recording optimization, failover, and system performance
– Experience conducting root cause analysis and system health assessments
– Genetec, Milestone, or Avigilon certifications are a plus

This is a hands-on, onsite role in Kingstowne, VA for an engineer who enjoys solving challenging problems, leading root cause analysis, and improving the performance and reliability of mission-critical VMS infrastructure.

What we’re looking for:
✔ 4–5+ years supporting enterprise VMS or physical security systems
✔ Experience with Genetec Security Center, Milestone, Avigilon, or similar VMS platforms
✔ Advanced troubleshooting across IP networking, Windows Server, and storage
✔ Experience with RCA, system optimization, upgrades, patching, and high-availability environments
✔ Strong knowledge of H.264/H.265, VLANs, multicast, bandwidth, and storage performance

Manufacturer certifications, PowerShell/scripting experience, and experience in regulated or critical infrastructure environments are a plus.
