Today’s progress. Moving right along, but still quite a bit to do!

A little behind-the-scenes look at this piece as it takes shape. I’ve been slowly building the bears coat with layer after layer of fine pyrography lines, letting the grain and the marks work together to bring out texture and depth. There’s still plenty of open wood left, but I love this stage—the image is emerging one careful stroke at a time. What detail do you notice first?
I made this hand burned, personalized cheese board and this hand etched champagne glasses to match each other and gifted them to my cousin and best friend who are getting married next weekend! The trees and lake go along with their wedding theme as well. Can’t wait for the wedding!
