🌧️💙 RAINY DAY? STILL GLOWING UP!

We were back at Headquarters this morning continuing our office glow-up, and today’s mission was all about the details!

☕ Our new kitchenette area
🪟 New blinds
🧹 More organizing
✨ And a few more touches that are making the space feel more and more like home

It was a rainy morning outside, but inside we were productive and making progress!

We want our Headquarters to be a space that is welcoming, organized and functional for our committee members and everyone who walks through our doors. And little by little, it’s coming together!

There’s still more to do, and we’ll keep bringing you along for the transformation. 💙

Another productive morning. Another step closer. The Delco Dems HQ glow-up continues! ✨

What an incredible first Exchange! ❤️

Last night, Democratic leaders from across Delaware County came together in Lansdowne for our first Delaware County Democratic Leadership Exchange, and the evening captured exactly what we hoped this initiative would be about:

Exchanging ideas.
Exchanging resources.
Exchanging experiences.
Exchanging connections.

At one point, we asked everyone who had met someone new that evening to raise their hand. Seeing so many hands go up around the courtyard made us smile because that was the purpose.

We created the Leadership Exchange as a space for Democratic leaders to connect beyond titles and municipalities, learn from one another, share what is happening in their communities, and build relationships that continue long after the evening ends.

A special thank you to Tim Hudak, Chester Heights Borough Council President, for leading an informative conversation on modernizing municipal codes to account for data center construction and sharing information our leaders can take back to their communities.

We also thank our Chair, Cheryl Grosso, for her leadership, support, and willingness to embrace new opportunities for connection and engagement.

And a very special thank you to our sponsors, Gilmore & Associates, Inc. (G&A) and Robert W. Scott, P.C., for helping make the evening possible.

Finally, thank you to everyone who made last night a success. From planning and setup to welcoming guests and all the details behind the scenes, this evening could not have happened without the collaboration, support, and volunteers who made it all come together.

That spirit is what the Exchange is about.

When we exchange ideas, we learn.
When we exchange resources, we grow.
When we build connections, we become stronger.

And when we work together, we strengthen our ability to serve communities throughout Delaware County.

Our first Leadership Exchange is officially in the books, and we’re just getting started. ❤️

A huge shout-out to the City of Chester and Mayor Stefan Roots. 👏🏾💙

Nearly $100 million in public and private investment does not happen by accident. Mayor Roots says this package grew out of nearly two and a half years of work with Governor Shapiro’s administration, alongside county, community, institutional, and private-sector partners.

This is what government working for people looks like: building partnerships, bringing resources home, investing in neighborhoods, creating opportunities for young people, addressing violence and blight, and laying the groundwork for long-term economic growth.

Chester, your neighbors across Delaware County are watching, rooting for you, and celebrating this moment with you. Keep doing the work, Mayor Roots. The progress is being seen. 💙☀️
