🇺🇸 DELCO, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Next week, something incredibly special is coming right here to Aston Township.

The Wall That Heals will be in Aston October 6–11, bringing the three-quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and its Mobile Education Center to our community.

A tremendous amount of work has already gone into making this happen, and now they’re looking for one final push to fill the remaining volunteer hours.

If you can spare a few hours, please consider volunteering. There are openings for assisting visitors at the Wall, parking and visitor assistance, the Visitor Tent, the Mobile Education Center and other general support roles.

You don’t have to live in Aston to volunteer. We’d love to see people from all across Delco step up and help us welcome veterans, their families and visitors to our hometown.

And if you can’t volunteer, please SHARE THIS POST. You never know who on your friends list may have a few hours to give.

This is a pretty special honor for Aston, and we want to help make sure we do it right.

Sadly, it had to deny 1961 ride requests in the Philly area last year due to a shortage of volunteer drivers. You can volunteer 1 day a week at make a huge life saving contribution to your community and tAmerican Cancer Societyeds a ride!
