One of the best parts of this trip has been reconnecting with family.
Some faces have changed.
Some kids are all grown up.
Some stories are brand new.
But the love is still the same.

Seven years. That’s how long I waited for this exact hug. 🥺❤️ Being back in my mom’s arms here in Brazil feels like a dream I never want to wake up from. They always say there’s no place like home, but the truth is, home isn’t a place—it’s wherever she is. So incredibly grateful for this reunion and soaking in every single second! ✨

Did you watch the game yesterday? Even the Brazilian national team has their “Norway” days! 😅
I see this all the time: you are doing great in English, but one day you forget a basic word or mess up grammar, and suddenly you want to quit!
One little stumble doesn’t define your fluency. Making a mistake is just like losing a game in the group stages—it just means you need to practice for the finals. The only way you lose is if you walk off the pitch.
Laugh at your mistakes, dust yourself off, and focus on the next practice! 💪🌍

Did you know that here in the US, Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June?
To celebrate Father’s Day, our 7-year-old, Thomas, and I treated Eric to a fun day at the Brevard Zoo. 🦒
It was actually double the fun because today is also World Giraffe Day! It was the perfect excuse to spend time outside and see these amazing animals.
To treat someone to (something) means to provide and pay for something special for another person.
Example: “I treated my dad to lunch for Father’s Day.”

Vale a pena ➔ It’s worth it
Que s**o ➔ It’s annoying! /That sucks /What a pain
