We're excited to share some outstanding news!

🎉 Congratulations to Dr. Glen R. Mort, President & CEO of FACCM and APPLE Accreditation, on his appointment to the National Child Care Association (NCCA) Child Care Business Coalition!

This appointment recognizes Dr. Mort's dedication to advancing high-quality early learning, strengthening child care businesses, and advocating for providers across the country.

As a member of the coalition, Dr. Mort will help shape national conversations on workforce development, business sustainability, accreditation, public policy, and the future of early childhood education.

His appointment also ensures that the voices of Florida's child care providers and the FACCM and APPLE Accreditation community will have a strong presence at the national table.

Over the past few months, we have been building a new portal purpose-built for FACCM members. This portal will be officially launching soon, so stay tuned for updates!

Within the portal members can review their school information and accreditation status, browse member resources, view upcoming events as well as access invoices and submit payments.

For nearly 30 years, APPLE Accreditation has helped early learning centers demonstrate their commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and educational excellence. Now, home-based providers can join that same community of accredited programs.

Dr. Mort had the pleasure of meeting with Varnessa McCray from The Children’s Movement at the Florida Family Child Care Home Association Conference in Kissimmee, Florida.

Conferences like these are a wonderful reminder of the power of collaboration and the shared commitment to strengthening early childhood education.
