Holy crickets. 👀
Talk about a perspective shift.
I don’t usually post emotional videos because, if I’m honest, sometimes they can feel a little put on. But this one... Jesus used it to slap me right back to Him. And I needed it.
This week at Ignite Lake Aurora Christian Camp we kept talking about letting go, letting God, and letting Him carry whatever is keeping us from a deeper relationship with Him. I thought I was teaching it... then God made sure I lived it.
I found myself crying, and then all I could see were His hands. This beautiful piece of artwork by ℝ𝕪𝕒𝕟 𝔾𝕚𝕤𝕙
Jesus... You died for me. You took my sin. You gave everything so I could have forever with You.
It made me realize how easy it is to get consumed by what’s right in front of me, when my eyes belong on the cross.
Those hands carried what I never could.
Maybe today we all need to let go of what’s filling our hands... so we can see His. ❤️

📦 Mystery Box Challenge!👀

6-8pm


Bring a funny, silly, interesting, or unique object to Youth and toss it in the Mystery Box!
We’ll pick students willing to lead. They will select a random item, eyes closed. Then, you’ll have 3 minutes to find a Scripture and share what God reveals through it.
Middle schoolers are welcome to team up with a high school student for help finding Scripture—but the message has to come from you.
It’s a fun way to grow in God’s Word and discover that Jesus can be found everywhere! 📖🙌
